Letter: Water Turned Off Nov 7th

Letter: Water Turned Off Nov 7th

October 11, 2016
We are sorry that the electric bills are a bit late but we purposely held them so that we could update you on the Water Tank replacement. As of today, we have been given a date of Monday, November 7 for that to take place. What that means is that the water will be off for at least a portion of that day. While we cannot tell you exact times, they have told us they will do as much as possible as far as plumbing, etc. before they remove the old tank, so I would think that at least for the early morning we can hope to get showers, etc. However, we all need to be prepared on that day for a lengthy water outage.

Following the replacement, we will also be on a boil water alert for a minimum of 48 hours, so in the next month make sure that you stockpile water for cooking, brushing teeth and for drinking, usually a gallon of water per person, per day. After the 48 hours we will be having the water tested to be sure it is safe to drink, and will let you know that the boil water alert has been lifted. If there are any changes to this date, we will give you as much notice as possible, but keep in mind we are at the mercy of the contractor.

Sincerely,
Citrus Cove HOA Officers
Brandon Welch, President; Debbie Mockabee-Allen, V. Pres., Claudia Smythe, Sec./Treas.
